A 45-minute, one-on-one Design Advisory Session with a Mood interior designer to help you clarify your vision, avoid costly missteps, and define your next steps — without committing to a full design project.
A Design Advisory Session is a paid, working consultation conducted virtually with a senior Mood designer.
This is not a sales call. It is a focused strategy session designed to help you evaluate your space, define priorities, identify constraints, and determine realistic next steps — without entering into a full design engagement.
Homeowners or renters planning a refresh
Residents feeling stuck or overwhelmed by options

No. The Mood Design Advisory Session is a paid, professional advisory service.
This 45-minute session is designed to provide focused design guidance and education—not a sales call or free discovery meeting. Payment is required at booking to reserve dedicated time with one of our designers.
This session is a good fit if you:
Are early in the process and want professional direction
Feel unsure about priorities, layout logic, or overall approach
Want a designer’s perspective before making decisions or purchases
Are not yet ready to engage in a full design project
If you’re already ready to move forward with a clearly defined scope and timeline, a full design engagement may be more appropriate.
It can—but there is no obligation for it to do so.
Some clients use the session purely for clarity and move forward independently. Others decide later that they’d like to explore a full design engagement with Mood. If that happens, it would be handled under a separate agreement and scope of work.
This advisory session stands on its own.
Following your session, you’ll receive:
A brief written summary of key points discussed
One visual reference document reflecting the inspiration or examples reviewed during the call
This follow-up is intended to reinforce the conversation and key takeaways. It does not include drawings, plans, layouts, product selections, or additional design work beyond what was discussed live.
Yes. Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
Because advisory sessions reserve dedicated time with our design team, all sessions are non-refundable. Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the session fee.
